Hi! I am thinking of buying a MAC pro-palette (15) with refills. There are some shades I know I want, but does anybody have any recommendations? Looking for recs on neutrals and bold shades. Thanks!

Can anyone think of anywhere besides MAC that does makeover type appointments?  They are all booked for Saturday (my shopping day)!

EDIT: Ended up at Shoppers Drug Mart (Beauty Boutique) with mostly Lancome and Benefit products being used.

I was just wondering if anyone uses or has used MAC studio fix powder foundation? I've been wanting to try it but have been reading really mixed reviews. Some say it's great, while others say it makes your skin look really powdery. Is there somewhere online (a beauty website, not ebay or anything) that sells mac makeup? I want to buy some but I live in Australia and it's over double the price that people in the US pay. maccosmetics.com.au is such a ripoff. there was one particular item that was 16.50 on the US site and 35.00 on the AUS site. it's completely ridiculous ( Read more... )

I recently went to MAC Cosmetics told the sales associate that I was going for a natural, daytime look; she recommended the Studio Fix Liquid foundation (NW15).
